Notice of Democratic Caucus

All qualified voters who reside in Dorr Township are hereby notified that a caucus will be held on Tuesday, December 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Woodstock Public Library for the purpose of nominating Democratic candidates for Township offices to be elected at the consolidated election on April 9, 2013. Offices available for nominations include:

• Supervisor
• Clerk
• Assessor
• Highway Commissioner
• Trustees (4 positions)

Any Democrat residing in Dorr Township who wishes to be nominated for one of these offices is invited to attend and submit your name for a vote. All other Democrats who are residents of Dorr Township are strongly encouraged to attend to participate in the caucus.

Anyone who voted in the 2012 primary election of another political party, or who served as an election judge, precinct committeeman or public official on the ticket of any other political party in the past year is not eligible to participate in this caucus. Anyone who participates in the caucus will be required to sign an affidavit attesting to their affiliation with the Democratic Party.
