A note from Cathy
People ask me why I'm going through all this trouble just to get another politician elected. Yes, my time is precious to me, but this particular campaign is important. Why? You know that the well-being of our children, Natalie and Greg, Greg's wife Sherri and our grandchildren are our most important concern. To be blunt, while Congress is being held hostage by a few, about 80 members, the future well being of our family is looking more and more difficult. We happen to have one of the most extreme of those representatives in our District 14, Randy Hultgren.
As an individual, we can only do so much, but when I see an opportunity that has a chance of working, I'll do what I can to make it happen. Dennis Anderson received 41% of the vote two years ago when so few people even knew of him. Hultgren's voting record is abysmal. Dennis is a smart reasonable man. With Dennis running, we have a good chance of getting one of those 80 out and sending someone to Congress who will vote to move the country forward. We can only send one representative, and this is one thing we can change in Washington. So with a little extra time, energy, and money, I plan to introduce him to my neighbors and friends in Marengo, and maybe, just maybe, District 14 can be represented by someone who cares about its people. And if you meet him and see this as an opportunity like I do, maybe just maybe, you'll bring a few friends along to the polls in November and encourage them to vote for Dennis Anderson.
