Special Meeting for the Purpose of Slating a Candidate To Fill a Vacancy In Nomination

This special meeting is open only to Democratic Precinct Committeepersons (PC's) elected in the 2026 primary election on March 17th, 2026. Please RSVP.
Note that this is NOT our usual location at MCC.

"Dear Precinct Committeepersons,
"As you may know, we have a vacancy in nomination for the position of Superintendent of the McHenry County Regional Office of Education. A candidate has stepped forward, and are convening a special meeting of the nominating committee to fill the vacancy of nomination as spelled out in Illinois statutes. Because this is a county wide office, the nominating committee is comprised of all the Democratic Precinct Committeepersons in the county. A quorum is required, so it is critical that you attend if you can.
"The meeting will be called to order on Wednesday, May 13th, at 6:45. It will be held at McHenry County Public Library, Meeting Rooms East and West (135 & 136), 809 Front St, McHenry, IL.
