WOMEN’S MARCH-McHENRY COUNTY announces a Women’s March at historic Woodstock Square in Woodstock IL in coordination with sister marches in cities and communities across the globe. Women brought our Power To The Polls this November and elected a record number of women and the most diverse Congress in our nation's history. But we know we can’t stop there! We must demand concrete policy changes that reflect the values we first marched for two years ago.
Join #TheWomensWave on Jan. 19th on the Woodstock Square as we share our vision of what a truly inclusive, just society looks like. Bring your posters. Events include music, speakers, and a brief march around the Square ending at Sparrow’s Nest, a Home of the Sparrow resale shop. Sellable items and monetary and supply donations to the Home of the Sparrow/Sparrow’s Nest will be gratefully accepted. Monetary, gift cards are most needed as are the following items:
