Community Blood Drive for Chris Kalapodis

Here's a chance to do something very worthwhile and unusual ... come on out to a Community Blood Drive in support of Chris Kalapodis, our awesome candidate for McHenry County Coroner.  Save someone's life with a drop of your blood and help elect Chris while you're at it.

The actual blood collection will be done by Versiti, which is bringing a mobile blood drive vehicle to the Spirit Water parking lot, and the event is being hosted by Together We Stand McHenry County.

Chris is a registered nurse with extensive experience in ICU's and case management.  He's uniquely qualified to bring new openness and transparency to our coroner's office, and he's far more qualified than the incumbent. Come and meet Chris for yourself and hear why he is the best person by far to lead our county's coroner department.

After the Blood Drive, SpiritWater will be the launch point of a Day of Action for Chris and other local candidates running for office in McHenry County.  Monday, the 21st, is the start of early voting at satellite locations in McHenry County. Spend an hour or an afternoon, whatever you can do, distributing literature at doors throughout the area - we need every Democrat to vote to win, and we need you to make it happen!
