District 1 Dems Meeting

Come learn more about what your local Democratic Party is about & how you can make a difference right here at home!

On January 8th, Democrats from across McHenry County District 1 will gather for their monthly meeting. 

Guest Speaker: Former Democratic candidate for County Clerk and Director of the Illinois Ballot Integrity Project- McHenry County Chapter, Andrew 'Drew' Georgi.  The mission of the Illinois Ballot Integrity Project is to inform and educate people about election integrity problems and to promote the adoption of legislation and policies designed to secure the democratic process.  Drew will discuss the important role Precinct Committeemen, Poll Watchers, and Election Judges play in ensuring the integrity of our election processes, discuss the problems we face in securing our local elections, how to make sure our vote counts and provide us with tips on what to look out for while in the voting booth.  Bring your questions! 

We will also be discussing other local issues and GOTV efforts for the March 17th, 2020 Primary Election!

McHenry County District 1 covers all or a portion of Algonquin, Barrington Hills, Cary, Fox River Grove, Lake in the Hills, Trout Valley.
