DISTRICTS 8 & 9 DEMOCRATIC ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION - MARENGO

Crafted especially for Democratic Voters in Marengo, Seneca, Coral, Riley and Grafton Townships.

WHEN:  Tuesday, October 6th, 2026 -- 6:30 to 8:00 pm
WHERE:  Joe's Place, 19716 East Grant Highway, Marengo

We're in the Upstairs Room.  Please walk straight ahead to the order counter to order drink or food, then go back out to the lobby and take the stairs or elevator upstairs.

Early voting has started at the McHenry County Election Center at 410 South Eastwood Drive in Woodstock, and in  Marengo will start beginning Monday October 19th at Marengo City Hall, 132 East Prairie Street-Rear Entrance only, from 8:30 to 4 on weekdays and 8:30 to noon on Saturday.  There's no ballot dropbox for vote-by-mail ballots there -- the nearest one is in the parking lot of the county administration building at 667 Ware Road in Woodstock.  We recommend using the dropbox rather than the US Mail.

Plan to join our Democratic Party contingent in the Marengo Settlers' Days Parade on Sunday October 11th, stepping off at 2:00 pm from Calvin Spencer Park.  For your convenience, park either at the Marengo Community Middle School, 816 East Grant Highway, where the parade ends, or in the gravel lot behind Joe's Place, 19716 East Grant Highway, and our shuttle will run you over to the assembly point.  (And after the parade our shuttle will be available to run you back over to Joe's.)  The first shuttle run will depart Joe's at 11:30am, and the last at 1:15pm sharp.

Plans are in the works for another rally on Saturday October 17th for Get Out The Vote in Marengo, at 176 & Prospect Street, from 10 am to 12 noon.
