Early voting has started at the McHenry County Election Center at 410 South Eastwood Drive in Woodstock, and will continue beginning Monday October 19th at convenient locations around the county. The early voting location nearest to Spring Grove is the McHenry Township Office, at 3703 North Richmond Road in Johnsburg. There's also a secure ballot dropbox inside the township office, where you can deposit your completed vote-by-mail ballots. We recommend using the dropbox rather than the US Mail.
Plan to join our Democratic Party contingent in the Marengo Settlers' Days Parade on Sunday October 11th, stepping off at 2:00 pm from Calvin Spencer Park. For your convenience, park either at the Marengo Community Middle School, 816 East Grant Highway, where the parade ends, or in the gravel lot behind Joe's Place, 19716 East Grant Highway, and our shuttle will run you over to the assembly point. (And after the parade our shuttle will be available to run you back over to Joe's.) The first shuttle run will depart Joe's at 11:30am, and the last at 1:15pm sharp.
