Ugh! We’re Zoomin’ again!
The anti-vaccine, anti-mask crowd has dealt us a temporary setback. COVID-19 infections are on the rise again in McHenry County, and the new variants are proving to be nastier and more easily transmissible than previous strains. We are especially concerned about the potential threat to children, and some of our members (even those who are vaccinated) have children at home who could be put at risk if we meet at a pubic venue. Out of an abundance of caution, we are returning to Zoom until we can be safe meeting face to face.
Please join us this month for a virtual session of Drinking Liberally.
Use the Zoom meeting link below to join this virtual event. We'll be meeting in person again once it's safe to do so.

When it's time to Drink Liberally:
Drinking Liberally is an informal, inclusive progressive social group. Raise your spirits with us while you raise your glass. Share ideas with friends new and old. Drinking Liberally gives like-minded, left-leaning individuals a place to talk politics or any other topic that comes to mind. You don't need to be a policy expert and this isn't a book club — just come and learn from peers, trade jokes, vent frustration and hang out in an environment where it's not taboo to talk politics. Don't worry if you don't drink alcohol. Many of our members prefer soft drinks.
Drinking Liberally is a nationally chartered non-profit. It is not affiliated with the Democratic Party. Learn more about Drinking Liberally and Living Liberally at www.livingliberally.org/drinking
