Drinking Liberally at Home

We know you are tired of "Zooming" for Drinking Liberally. So, to celebrate the season, we are going to meet at Mike and Paula's house this Wednesday for a little holiday cheer. This is safer than meeting at a bar or restaurant, but gives us a chance to gather in person. We hope to be meeting in person regularly in the future if we can get past the Omicron variant and get the local infection rate back down to acceptable levels.

We are limiting attendance this month to 10 guests. Masks are optional, but you must be fully vaccinated to attend.

December 8, 1980: John Lennon, a former member of the Beatles, the rock group that transformed popular music in the 1960s, was shot and killed by an obsessed fan in New York City. John Lennon was one half of the singing-songwriting team that made the Beatles the most popular musical group of the 20th century.

Drinking Liberally is an informal, inclusive progressive social group. Raise your spirits with us while you raise your glass. Share ideas with friends new and old. Drinking Liberally gives like-minded, left-leaning individuals a place to talk politics or any other topic that comes to mind. You don't need to be a policy expert and this isn't a book club — just come and learn from peers, trade jokes, vent frustration and hang out in an environment where it's not taboo to talk politics. Don't worry if you don't drink alcohol. Many of our members prefer soft drinks.
