Spring is coming, we promise!
We’re back in Huntley again this month, for our second visit to Pub 47. This was a real hit last time, and there's a good reason: good food and drink, a good location with plenty of parking, and it's easy to find, especially if you live in the western half of McHenry County.
If you haven't tried Drinking Liberally yet, what are you waiting for? The days are getting longer and the cold weather is finally releasing its grip on Illinois. Now is the time to make Drinking Liberally part of your monthly social scene.
Drinking Liberally is:
An informal, inclusive, progressive social group. Raise your spirits while you raise your glass, and share ideas with friends new and old. Drinking Liberally gives like-minded, left-leaning individuals a place to talk politics or any other topic that comes to mind. You don't need to be a policy expert and this isn't a book club — just come and exchange ideas, trade jokes, or vent frustrations in a relaxed environment where it's not taboo to talk politics. Don't worry if you don't drink alcohol. Many of our members prefer soft drinks.
Drinking Liberally is a nationally chartered non-profit. It is not affiliated with the Democratic Party. If you would like to be notified of future Drinking Liberally gatherings, update your email preferences here.
