Join us in Crystal Lake
June 14th is Flag Day. It's an auspicious day to celebrate our liberal ideals of freedom of speech and freedom of conscience.
We're meeting this month at Georgio's in downtown Crystal Lake near the Metra train station. Join us for a relaxed evening of good conversation. Ask for our group at the door or look for our Drinking Liberally table sign.
Drinking Liberally is:
An informal, inclusive, progressive social group. Raise your spirits while you raise your glass, and share ideas with friends new and old. Drinking Liberally gives like-minded, left-leaning individuals a place to talk politics or any other topic that comes to mind. You don't need to be a policy expert and this isn't a book club — just come and exchange ideas, trade jokes, or vent frustrations in a relaxed environment where it's not taboo to talk politics. Don't worry if you don't drink alcohol. Many of our members prefer soft drinks.
Drinking Liberally is a nationally chartered non-profit. It is not affiliated with the Democratic Party. If you would like to be notified of future Drinking Liberally gatherings, update your email preferences here.
