Families First Protest Rally in McHenry

FAMILIES FIRST -- PROTEST RALLY IN MCHENRY

WHEN:  Saturday, July 26th, 2025 -- 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
WHERE:  Route 31 & McCullom Lake Road, McHenry

This peaceful protest rally is being hosted by Indivisible McHenry County. 

Protesters should bring their own signs or flags. The theme is protecting benefits that are needed by families and individuals, such as Medicaid, SNAP benefits, Head Start, etc.

It is a standing, roadside rally that will take place on the sidewalk on the west side of Route 31 at McCullom Lake Road in McHenry. If needed, we will use the sidewalks on both sides of the road.

Ample parking is available in a large vacant parking lot at the northeast corner of Route 31 and McCullom Lake Road. Please do not park in front of operating businesses, let's leave those spaces open for their customers. This area has a lot of traffic, so please cross the road only at the designated crosswalks. 

Mobility-challenged participants may be dropped off at the Casey's gas station on the northwest corner.
