The Democratic Party of McHenry County has adopted a mile along Ackman Road, between Randall Road on the east and Golf Course Road on the west. We pick up the trash a few times per year, keeping our beautiful county clean, and besides the satisfaction of doing so, we get our name on a sign at a highly visible location on this heavily trafficked road.
Our next cleanup is going to be in the evening of Thursday July 11th, starting at 6:00 pm. For sure we'll be done by 8.
Details:
Please park along Westport Ridge just north of Ackman. This intersection has a flashing crosswalk.
Bring your own gloves - we’ll have some grabbers, safety vests and bags.
