SPRING GROVE INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE

Please join the Democratic Party of McHenry County as we march in the 2026 Independence Day Parade in Spring Grove.  Come celebrate our nation's heritage of democracy and freedom, help campaign for all our great candidates, and see the latest improvements to our float.

WHEN:  Saturday, July 4th, 2026 -- parade steps off at 12pm.
WHERE:  Step-off from intersection of Winn Road & Highview Street, Spring Grove.

We are #50 in the parade lineup.  All roads around the route will close at 11:30.

Assemble in the parking lots on the south side of Highview Street, just to the east of Winn Road (east of the Walgreens).  Your best parking may be just to the south, on the south side of Route 12. There is parking at Thelen Park for a $10 charge.

The parade goes in a circle, north on Winn Road, east on Main Street Road, and south on Blivin Street to the terminus at Hatchery Road.  From there it's about half a mile west back to the start.

Here's info from the organizers, and here's the parade route .
