If you’re a veteran and a Democrat, we invite you to join the McHenry County Democrats' Veterans Committee, a new committee we have started to activate our local Vets. Our next meeting is on Tuesday, June 18th at 7pm at the DPMC Office. The committee has lots of great plans for the rest of the year, including a Veteran Issues Forum, and several opportunities to attend other events.
Jesse Rojo will lead the discussion. He's chair of Illinois Veterans for Change, an organization dedicated to supporting Democratic military veterans running for all levels of office. We are getting ready for the November election, and ILV4C is working to create a statewide campaign targeting persuadable voters and showing them that Democrats are the true patriots and supporters of our military and Veterans.
