Please join us on Sunday March 2nd for a nice, warm, INDOOR Day of Action - Come on out to meet, strategize, and get out some votes. Open to all veterans and their families and supporters.
We'll be at the McHenry VFW Post 4600, 3002 IL-120, on Route 120 just east of the river.
11am to 1pm: Postcard Party - Join us to help take action and support McHenry County Democratic Veteran candidates for the April 1st election! We will be inside and warm and writing postcards to send out to potential voters and ensure they're aware of the upcoming election!
1pm to 3pm: Joint Veteran Committee Meeting - Right after the postcard party, join us for a joint meeting with the Lake County Democrats Veteran Committee, where we will begin planning a post-election community forum. The purpose of the forum is to hear from experts about issues impacting Veterans in IL. From there, we will ask elected officials what they plan to do to support veterans through policy and action!
