By far the biggest expense for any down-ballot campaign is direct mail. There's a simple strategy to ensure you get the most bang for your buck.

Social media is the new "magic bullet" of campaigning. It's supposed to be incredibly persuasive, easy to use, and wonderfully cheap. None of that is true, but you simply must use social media and understand how to manage it if you want to win.

The class is open to all candidates who will be on the ballot in McHenry County for the March 20 primary, and Executive Board members. Attendance is limited to 20.
