Parade Staging Information:
We are entry 25 (look for the Blue Wave float). Parade starts at Crystal Lake City Hall, 110 W. Woodstock. If marching, show up no later than 12:30 pm. Parade kick off is 1 pm.
Lakewood Holdings LLC is providing their lot for parade staging.
THE PARADE FOLLOWS ITS HISTORICAL 1.8 MILE ROUTE BEGINNING AT CITY HALL, PROCEEDING DOWN DOLE AVENUE AND ENDING AT THE LAKESIDE FESTIVAL GROUNDS.
Children under the age of 10 years must ride in a vehicle as the parade route may be too long for them to walk No exceptions!
No one is permitted to get in or out of vehicles or on and off floats once the parade starts This rule will be strictly enforced
Throwing of candy or any objects and spraying of any liquid is not permitted
Open flames of any kind are not permitted
Selling of items either along the parade route or in the staging area is prohibited
No handing out of flyers or pamphlets
Float dimensions limited to 13.6 feet high and 8.6 feet wide. No restriction on length
Any group holding up the parade will be asked to pick up their pace or step out of line
Political party entries may advertise their political party only, not their views or opinions
Alcohol consumption by parade participants either along the parade route or in the staging area is prohibited
