What does the future hold for Donald Trump? Let’s discuss.
Joe Biden will take the oath of office on January 20, 2021, and America will have reason to celebrate. Donald Trump may have a slightly less enjoyable day than the rest of us. Will he show up for the inauguration of his successor? Will he leave the White House voluntarily? We he try to flee the country? Let's take a COVID-free breather, get together and enjoy a few hours of progressive talk. Just use the Zoom meeting link below to join the virtual party. We'll be meeting in person again once it's safe to do so.

On this day in history
December 9, 1979: A commission of scientists declared that smallpox has been eradicated. The disease, which carries around a 30 percent chance of death for those who contract it, is the only infectious disease afflicting humans that has officially been eradicated.
December 9, 1958: In Indianapolis, retired Boston candy manufacturer Robert H.W. Welch, Jr., establishes the John Birch Society, a right-wing organization dedicated to fighting what it perceives to be the extensive infiltration of communism into American society. Welch named the society in honor of John Birch, considered by many to be the first American casualty in the struggle against communism.
Drinking Liberally is an informal, inclusive progressive social group. Raise your spirits with us while you raise your glass. Share ideas with friends new and old. Drinking Liberally gives like-minded, left-leaning individuals a place to talk politics or any other topic that comes to mind. You don't need to be a policy expert and this isn't a book club — just come and learn from peers, trade jokes, vent frustration and hang out in an environment where it's not taboo to talk politics. Don't worry if you don't drink alcohol. Many of our members prefer soft drinks.
Drinking Liberally is a nationally chartered non-profit. It is not affiliated with the Democratic Party. Learn more about Drinking Liberally and Living Liberally at www.livingliberally.org/drinking
