Algonquin Founders' Days Parade

JOIN US AT THE ALGONQUIN FOUNDERS' DAYS PARADE!

Candidates are welcome to walk with us.

The parade crew is working on a great "Blue Wave" float, so grab your sunscreen and blue shirt and come on out for a great day of fun.

Water bottles will be provided. Please RSVP by clicking the blue 'RSVP' button at the bottom of the page.

We are entry #60. Line up is at 9:00 am and our float should be located on Webster somewhere between Summit and Eastgate - Please remember when arriving for line up participants can enter the line-up area from Longwood or Hubbard. This avoids traffic congestion at Eastgate and Route 62.  However, as this is a one-way parade ending at Towne Park, it is recommended that you park near the end of the parade route and walk back to the line-up area via the Prairie Path.  It is about a mile walk.

Kick off is at 11 am and hopefully the last entry will near the end by 1:00 pm.

The parade route will run West along Route 62 from Eastgate - turning South on Harrison Street, NOT Main Street like usual due to construction. The parade will end at Washington Street.
