Do you know your voting location?  Republican Clerk Mary McClellan, without any consultation or notice to the Democratic Party of McHenry County, has changed 15 Polling Locations in District 2.  The following Precincts are changing Polling Locations for the General Primary Election to be held on March 20th. 

Algonquin 13,25,36     Crystal Lake Park District Main Beach, 300 Lake Shore Dr., Crystal Lake, 60014

Algonquin 24,26,27,37 Crystal Lake Park District Park Place, 406 W. Woodstock St., Crystal Lake, 60014

Algonquin 38,42          Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 923 McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake, 60014

Algonquin 52,66          Hope Covenant Church, 451 Ackman Rd., Crystal Lake, 60014

Grafton 3,5,6              Crystal Lake Park District Park Place, 406 W. Woodstock St., Crystal Lake, 60014

Grafton 31                  Woods Creek School, 1100 W. Alexandra Blvd., Crystal Lake, 60014

Check your new Voters Registration Card, which you should have received in the mail, to verify your new Polling Location.  You can contact McHenry County Clerk Mary McClellan directly at 815-334-4242, [email protected], to voice any concerns you have regarding these changes.  Remember, you have to options to Vote By Mail or Early Voting if you wish to avoid concerns on election day.  Check the County Clerk's web site for Vote By Mail procedures and Early Voting locations.
