Volunteers like you are critical in welcoming the country and the world to Chicago for this historic moment. McHenry County Democrats, let's do our part in welcoming the country and the world to Chicago!

PLEASE SIGNUP BY JUNE 30TH IF POSSIBLE.

On August 19 through 22, 50,000 visitors, 20,000 members of the media, and 5,500 elected delegates will come to Chicago for the 2024 Democratic National Convention. The Chicago 2024 Host Committee is working to recruit 12,000 volunteers to support the convention. 

Volunteers are needed not just at the Convention Center itself, but at hotels, at train stops, at O'Hare and on the road to help guide and care for the visitors arriving from all over the country.  Volunteers contribute in various ways, including, but not limited to, greeting guests, giving directions, assisting with event check-in, serving as ushers, providing transportation for credentialed guests and dignitaries, and much, much more. Individuals 16 and over who pass a background check and initial screening can access a detailed list of volunteer roles and shifts before the convention.

Can't volunteer but know someone who can?  Spread the word!  We are looking for 60 Democrats from McHenry County to volunteer.
