Do you know your voting location?  Republican Clerk Mary McClellan, without any consultation or notice to the Democratic Party of McHenry County, has changed 15 Polling Locations in District 2.  The following Precincts are changing Polling Locations for the General Primary Election to be held on March 20th. 

Cold enough for ya?

Every once in a while, this current administration really lets us know who they are. They often cloak their intentions with flowery mistruths. They call the tax plan a savior for the middle class when it obviously favors corporations and the 1 percent and does nothing to affect the real issues that most of us deal with: jobs, college, health care, clean water, strong infrastructure.

U.S. Rep. Peter Roskam, R-Ill., the U.S. Ways & Means Tax Policy chairman, was one of three congressmen to speak before the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago on Monday where he argued that when the House tax bill is looked at in its totality, it's a great deal for the average middle class family - and will make America the best place in the world to do business.

"I am not chasing perfect. I'm chasing good," Roskam said of criticisms of specific line items.
