This is the exciting must-attend kick-off to our Get-Out-The-Vote efforts! We will have material available to PCs and volunteers for distribution about Democratic candidates and voting. Local candidates will be stopping by before they win in November. Also joining us will be some statewide candidates, including Illinois Comptroller Susana Mendoza!
Please bring the whole family and a dish to pass. Come ready to socialize and have fun in Woodstock's beautiful Emricson Park before we hit the streets to canvass. Our picnic will be held in the shaded Main Pavilion at the south end of the park, next to the playground.
We are partnering with Heartland Blood Centers to donate blood on site in their air-conditioned bus. The blood we give saves lives right here in McHenry County.
Donations to cover costs are welcome, but not required.
