Democratic Party of McHenry County in the Marengo Settlers' Days Parade!
Join us for the last parade of the season! In honor of the Settler's Day parade theme of "Back to the Future" we are celebrating the impending 100 year anniversary of Women's Suffrage, so please wear white.
Candidates are welcome, but please let us know if you plan to walk with us.
If you are walking with a candidate, then wear blue or your favorite candidate's t-shirt.
If you are participating with us, please arrive NO LATER THAN 1:30. Our staging location is on Page St in between Jackson and Van Buren. You will not be able to park at the staging location. Parking is in lots along Prospect or at the Marengo Middle School.
The parade will kick-off at 2 pm. The parade route starts at State St (Route 23)/Railroad, moves South to Washington St, turns onto East Washington and goes down Washington until Prospect St (End).
